Fighting Corruption

Mulla needed a document approved by a famously corrupt judge who wouldn't stamp anything without a bribe. Mulla was broke, so he filled a jar with dirt, poured a layer of honey on top, and took it to the judge. The judge saw the honey, stamped the paper immediately, and sent Mulla on his way. A few days later, the judge dug into the jar, realized he'd been scammed, and sent a messenger to Mulla's house. "The judge says there is a mistake in your document." Mulla smiled and told the messenger, "Give the judge my regards and tell him there's no mistake in the document. The mistake is in the honey jar!"
