Mulla was trying to catch his calf in a field to bring it home, but the calf kept jumping, kicking, and running away until Mulla was completely exhausted. Giving up on the calf, he marched home, grabbed a heavy stick, and started beating the mother cow. His wife ran out and yelled, "Have you lost your mind? Why are you beating the cow?!" Mulla panted, "Because she's the instigator! If she hadn't taught that calf how to jump and run away, the little brat wouldn't have put me through all that trouble today!"
