Thanking God for the Arrow
Late at night, Mulla saw a shadowy figure standing in the corner of his courtyard. He grabbed his bow and arrow, shot the intruder, and confidently went back to bed.
The next morning, he went out and realized he had shot his own coat, which had been hanging on a nail. He immediately started thanking God.
"What are you doing?" his wife asked.
"I'm thanking God I wasn't wearing my coat, otherwise I’d be dead right now!"
