The Beggar's Game
Mulla used to beg in the market every day, and the locals loved to play a game to mock his "stupidity." They would hold out two coins—one gold and one silver—and tell him to pick one. Mulla always picked the silver coin. This became a famous local joke, and people did it all day long just to laugh at him.
One day, a kind-hearted man pulled Mulla aside and said, "Listen, whenever they offer you two coins, take the gold one! You'll get more money, and they'll stop making fun of you."
Mulla smiled and whispered, "You're probably right. But if I take the gold coin, the game is over and they stop handing me money. You have no idea how rich I've gotten playing the fool."
