Mulla somehow managed to drag his donkey all the way up onto the roof of his house. When he tried to bring it back down, the donkey refused to budge. Mulla gave up and climbed down alone. Left on the roof, the donkey started bucking, kicking, and stomping around until the roof collapsed, killing the poor animal. Looking at the wreckage, Mulla muttered, "Stupid me. I should have known that if you elevate a jackass to a high position, he'll just destroy the place and ruin himself in the process."
