While passing through a village, Mulla’s saddlebag was stolen off his donkey. He gathered the locals and shouted, "Either you find my saddlebag, or I’m going to do what I shouldn't have to do!" Terrified of what this threat meant, the simple villagers searched frantically, finally found the bag, and returned it. As Mulla was leaving, the mayor asked, "Mulla, out of curiosity, what would you have done if we hadn't found it?" Mulla shrugged. "Nothing. I would've just cut up an old rug I have at home and sewn a new one."
