The Tenth Man
One night, Mulla was sitting by a river. Ten men walked up and agreed to pay him one coin each if he carried them across on his back. Mulla agreed and carried nine of them across. But when he was carrying the last guy, he was so exhausted that he dropped him, and the river swept the poor guy away.
His friends screamed, "What did you just do?!"
Mulla replied, "Why are you mad? I just saved you a coin! Just pay me the nine coins for the rest of you."
