Mourning Chicks
Mulla's prized hen died, leaving behind a brood of chicks. The next day, Mulla took tiny scraps of black cloth, cut holes in them, and slipped them over the chicks' necks like little black collars.
A friend asked, "Why are the chicks wearing black?"
Mulla whispered solemnly, "Their mother just died. They are in mourning."
