Mulla's Bankruptcy
A man dragged Mulla to court, telling the judge, "This man has owed me 500 dollars for months! Please order him to pay me immediately!"
Mulla shrugged. "Your Honor, I intend to pay him. I'm going to sell my cow and my donkey to get the cash, but it takes time."
The creditor yelled, "He's lying! I know for a fact he doesn't own a cow or a donkey! He doesn't even have food in his pantry!"
Mulla threw his hands up. "Your Honor, if he knows I'm that broke, why on earth does he expect me to pay him immediately?!"
