Mulla's Grief
When Mulla's wife died, he didn't seem particularly bothered. But a few months later, his donkey died, and Mulla was absolutely devastated, crying for days.
His friends came to comfort him. "Mulla, don't grieve so much over worldly possessions. And besides, when your wife died, you barely shed a tear. Why are you so broken up over a donkey?"
Mulla looked up with bloodshot eyes and said, "When my wife died, everyone patted my back and said, 'Don't worry, we'll find you a newer, better one.' Nobody has said that to me about my donkey!"
