Mulla was pulling a bucket of water up from a well for his donkey. Suddenly, the donkey nudged him, and Mulla's turban fell off his head and straight down the well. Without hesitating, Mulla unbuckled the donkey's halter and tossed it down the well too. A friend saw this and asked, "Why did you do that?!" Mulla reasoned, "Because whoever goes down there to fetch the donkey's halter will probably bring my turban back up with it!"
