Over Five Bucks

Written story
Mulla owed the corner grocer fifty dollars. To avoid paying, he completely stopped walking down that street. One day, the grocer spotted him in the market, grabbed him by the collar, and yelled, "Why are you avoiding me and not paying your debt? If you don't pay me right now, I'm going to ruin your reputation and tell everyone you're a deadbeat!" Mulla calmly asked, "Exactly how much do I owe you to justify all this screaming?" "Fifty dollars!" the grocer shouted. "Alright," Mulla said. "I'll give you twenty-five dollars tomorrow, and twenty dollars the day after that. Now, how much is left?" "Five dollars," the grocer replied. Mulla yelled, "Are you not ashamed of yourself?! Making a huge scene in public and ruining my reputation over five measly bucks? Give me a few days, I'll bring you your five dollars!"
