The Debt

Written story
Late one night, Mulla's wife saw him pacing back and forth on the porch, looking stressed out of his mind. "What's wrong?" she asked. "I borrowed a hundred dollars from our neighbor a month ago, and I promised to pay him back tomorrow. But I don't have a single dime, and I don't know what to do!" His wife said, "What can you do? Just go next door, knock on his window, and tell him you don't have the money." Mulla took her advice. He went next door, told the neighbor the bad news, and came back looking completely relaxed and happy. "Well?" his wife asked. "How did he take it?" Mulla smiled, "I don't know, but now he's the one pacing back and forth on his porch!"
