Mulla's donkey wandered into the Governor's private pasture. The Governor sued Mulla and dragged him before the judge. "Explain yourself, Mulla!" the judge demanded. Mulla said, "Your Honor, imagine you are my donkey. I put a saddle on you, put a bridle on you, and we go for a walk. Suddenly, a pack of wild dogs starts barking at you. You get spooked, run away, and accidentally wander into the Governor's field. Now, tell me fairly: is that my fault, or your fault?"
