The Sultan’s pet elephant was roaming through Mulla's village, destroying crops and causing chaos. The villagers formed a delegation, asked Mulla to lead them, and marched to the palace to demand the Sultan remove the beast. But as they entered the grand, intimidating palace, the villagers lost their nerve and quietly snuck away one by one. When Mulla finally stood before the Sultan’s throne, he realized he was completely alone. The Sultan glared at him. "What do you want?" Panicking, Mulla stammered, "Your Majesty, your elephant is in our village... and he looks incredibly lonely. I came to ask you to please send him a mate."
