The Glare
Every time Mulla's poor wife wanted to do laundry, it would rain.
Mulla told her, "I have a plan. We have to trick God so He doesn't know what we're up to. On a perfectly sunny day, you give me a secret signal. I'll go to the market, buy soap, and bring it back. Then you can wash the clothes."
A few days later, the sky was crystal clear. His wife gave the signal. Mulla marched to the market, bought a bar of soap, and stepped out of the store. Instantly, a light drizzle started.
Mulla looked up. Suddenly, a massive crack of thunder shook the sky.
Mulla quickly hid the soap under his coat and yelled up at the clouds, "Okay, God, we're sorry! We're not doing laundry! There's no need to glare at me with all that thunder!"
