Mulla was sitting on his porch, sobbing uncontrollably. His friends rushed over and asked, "Mulla, why are you crying?" "I lost my handkerchief!" he wailed. "Was it made of expensive silk?" they asked. "No," Mulla sniffled. "But my wife tied a knot in the corner of it so I wouldn't forget to buy apples. Now that it's lost, how am I supposed to remember what she told me?!"
