What Time Is It?
It was the fasting month of Ramadan, and everyone was exhausted and hungry. A man walked up to Mulla and asked, "Mulla, what time is it?"
Mulla, misunderstanding, said, "We have all kinds of timepieces! Some cost ten dollars, some cost a thousand!"
The man said, "No, Mulla, I just want to know what time it is right now."
Mulla said, "Oh, it costs fifty dollars."
Frustrated, the man said, "Mulla, I'm not joking! I'm starving. What do we have for Iftar (dinner)?"
Mulla said, "Probably pudding, rice, and stew."
The man rubbed his temples. "Mulla, why are you so slow today? I'm asking you: What time are we in?!"
Mulla sighed. "Based on this conversation, I'd say the End of Times."
